Frequently asked questions
Quick answers to the things I hear most.
What does it cost?
The first conversation is free, and it is not a sales meeting — it is about whether there is a job here at all. After that I work at an hourly rate, or at a fixed price once the scope is clear enough that a fixed price is honest rather than a hedge. I would rather quote a small first piece you can evaluate than a whole project you have to take on trust. You get the rate in that first conversation, and being one person with low overheads, it generally sits below what a consultancy has to charge for the same work.
Who will actually do the work?
I will. Zure AI is a one-person consultancy, so the person you talk to is the person writing the code. If a project needs more capacity than I have, I say so up front rather than quietly subcontracting it.
What industries do you work with?
So far: food tech, manufacturing and foundry, and the public and health sector. The approach is industry-agnostic — I adapt to your domain rather than arriving with a template.
How long does a typical project take?
It depends on scope. A focused proof-of-concept can be ready in 2–4 weeks, while a full production rollout typically runs 2–6 months.
Do you work with startups or only established companies?
Both. I co-founded a startup myself, so I know how different the constraints are. Engagements scale to fit your needs and budget.
What technologies do you specialise in?
Azure AI services, OpenAI and Claude models, Dynamics 365 F&O, .NET, and modern DevOps tooling. I pick the right tool for the job — not the other way around.
Can you help if we already have an AI project in progress?
Yes. Joining an ongoing project to accelerate delivery, review an architecture, or help a team get unstuck is some of the most useful work I do.

You are hiring me, not a logo
Zure AI is me, Jonas Kirkfeldt. I have spent the last two and a half years building software on the Microsoft stack — most of it at Fellowmind, where I work as a developer on Dynamics 365 and Azure deliveries, and increasingly on the architecture and client-facing side of them.
Zure AI is where I take on the work I want to own end to end. That includes Madplanen, the meal-planning product I co-founded, and Neuroplay — both live, both with real users, both built and maintained by me.
I am not a large agency and I do not pretend to be. You get one person who writes the code, answers the email, and is still there when something breaks at an awkward hour. If a project needs more hands or more experience than I can honestly give it, I will tell you.
